Gundaker Grabs Another Podium Performance in MLRA Finale!

a rain-out on Friday night, the Lucas Oil MLRA Series wrapped up
their 2021 season on Saturday evening, October 16 at Tri-City Speedway
in Granite City, Illinois. The show last night at the St. Louis-area
oval drew a 25 car field to vie for the $7,000 paycheck. Gordy Gundaker
laid down the fifth quickest lap overall during the qualifying session
before securing a victory in his loaded heat race. After starting
the 40-lap main event from the outside of the front row, Gordy raced
hard at the front of the field and eventually wound up third and
on the podium behind only race winner Brian Shirley and runner-up

Gundaker Leads Majority
of $15,000 FALS Frenzy; Winds Up on Podium!
10, 2021) The
Gordy Gundaker Racing (GGR) team invaded Fairbury Speedway on October
8-9 for the annual running of 'FALS Frenzy.' The Super Late Model
doubleheader was scheduled to kick off on Friday night with a $5,000
to win shootout, but the opener was nixed due to inclement weather.
On Saturday evening at the Fairbury, Illinois oval, Gordy Gundaker
started off his night by winning his heat race to earn the pole
position for the $15,000 to win headliner. Gordy then grabbed the
point from early leader Brandon Sheppard on the fourth circuit and
led the caution-free race up until the 34th lap. At the finish of
the 50-lapper, the St. Charles, Missouri ace found himself on the
podium in third behind only victor Frank Heckenast, Jr. and runner-up

Gordy Gundaker Claims
Pair of Top Tens in Mod Mania at Granite City
26, 2021) Gordy
Gundaker and his #11 team headed to Tri-City Speedway in Granite
City, Illinois from September 23-25 for the annual running of 'Mod
Mania,' which was headlined by a trio of Super Late Model shows
all paying $3,000 to the winner. In Thursday's opener, Gordy ran
third in his heat race prior to knocking down a solid ninth place
effort in the 30-lap main event. At Granite City on Friday night,
Gordy set Fast Time in Group B during qualifying, won his heat race,
and later slipped back to finish sixth in the final rundown of the
30-lapper. Unfortunately, Gordy then suffered motor issues early
in the program on Saturday and was forced to scratch from the 'Mod

up on the racing calendar for the GGR Motorsports team was a visit
to Federated Raceway at I-55 in Pevely, Missouri on Saturday evening,
September 18. The DIRTcar Super Late Model portion of the 'Pepsi
Nationals' boasted a $2,000 paycheck. Gordy Gundaker moved up one
spot during his heat race to finish third, but unfortunately hurt
a motor while doing so. Due to the terminal mechanical woes, Gordy
was unable to make the start in the A-Main and was officially paid
for a twenty-fourth place effort at the St. Louis-area venue. Full

Gundaker Grabs Top Five
with Castrol FloRacing Night in America Series!

special Monday night showdown greeted the #11 team on September
13 at Fairbury Speedway in downtown Fairbury, Illinois. The Castrol
FloRacing Night in America Series schedule fired back up last night
at FALS and the event dubbed as 'One for the Road' shelled out a
$15,000 paycheck. Gordy Gundaker clicked off the ninth quickest
lap overall during the qualifying session prior to placing third
in his stacked heat race. After starting ninth on the feature grid
and climbing to as high as second in the running order, Gordy crossed
underneath the checkers fifth in the 50-lapper behind only race
winner Brandon Sheppard, Tanner English, Bobby Pierce, and Mike

Gordy Gundaker Competes
in Lucrative World 100s at Eldora
12, 2021) The
GGR Motorsports team and driver Gordy Gundaker made their way to
the Buckeye State from September 8-11 for the double 'World 100s'
held at the famed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio. The 51st edition
of the "Granddaddy of Them All" started on Wednesday night
with a pair of Twin 25 preliminary events - each of which paid $10,000
to the winner. Gordy finished eighth in his heat race and fourteenth
in his B-Main, which unfortunately kept him out of the 25-lap sprint.
At Eldora on Thursday, Gordy ran tenth in his heat race and eleventh
in his B-Main before being forced to watch the $54,000 to win crown
jewel headliner that was won by Brandon Overton.
On Friday evening at the "Big E," the 50th
Annual 'World 100' got underway with $10,000 to win Twin 25s. Gordy
placed eighth in his heat race and thirteenth in his B-Main, which
did not allow him to transfer into the 25-lapper. In the grand finale
on Saturday in front of a jammed-packed grandstand crowd, Gordy
wound up ninth in his heat race and eleventh in his B-Main. Although
the St. Charles, Missouri ace was unable to make the start in the
$53,000 to win 'World 100,' his good friend Nick Hoffman did utilize
the #11 ride as a back-up machine to make the start in the 100-lap

Gundaker Spends Labor
Day Weekend at Farmer City & FALS

Gundaker and his #11 team spent their Labor Day weekend at Farmer
City Raceway in Farmer City, Illinois and Fairbury Speedway in Fairbury,
Illinois from September 2-4, as a trio of MARS Racing Series specials
took place in the Land of Lincoln. The holiday weekend triple shot
kicked off on Thursday night at Farmer City with a $5,000 to win
showdown. Gordy timed in fourteenth fastest during the qualifying
session, placed fourth in his stacked heat race, and later wound
up twelfth in the final rundown of the 40-lapper.
Another $5,000 top prize was scheduled to be on the
line on Friday evening at Farmer City, but rain showers during heat
race action nixed the 40-lap main event. The MARS tripleheader then
wrapped up on Saturday at Fairbury with the annual running of the
'FALS Super Nationals,' which shelled out a $10,000 paycheck. Gordy
once again laid down the fourteenth quickest time during qualifying,
but unfortunately suffered terminal motor issues during his heat
race and was forced to scratch from the remainder of the program.

Down Top Five Against Summer Nationals Foes!

Gundaker and his #11 team were back in action with the DIRTcar Summer
Nationals tour on Saturday night, August 14 at Federated Raceway
at I-55 in Pevely, Missouri. A 33 car field signed into the pit
area at the St. Louis-area venue to do battle for the $10,000 payday.
Gordy timed in second fastest in Group B during the qualifying session
prior to running second in his loaded heat race. The St. Charles,
Missouri standout then started the 40-lap main event from the outside
of the fourth row before picking off three competitors during the
contest. At the checkers, Gordy found himself in the fifth position
behind only race winner Bobby Pierce, Brandon Sheppard, Ashton Winger,

Gundaker Advances into
$50,000 USA Nationals at Cedar Lake Speedway
8, 2021) Next
up for the Gordy Gundaker Racing (GGR) team was a visit to the renowned
Cedar Lake Speedway on August 5-7 for the 34th Annual 'USA Nationals.'
The crown jewel extravaganza, which was once again sanctioned by
the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series, kicked
off at the New Richmond, Wisconsin oval on Thursday with a $6,000
to win shootout. Gordy Gundaker timed in eighteenth quickest in
Group A during qualifying before running seventh in his stacked
heat race. With the remainder of the show getting pushed back until
late Friday afternoon due to inclement weather, Gordy placed seventh
in his B-Main as well and unfortunately missed out on the 30-lap
feature that was eventually won by Ashton Winger.
Later on Friday at Cedar Lake, Gordy finished fourth
in his first heat race of the night and eighth in his final prelim.
The St. Charles, Missouri ace then placed fifth in his B-Main on
Saturday evening before receiving a provisional to gain access into
the $50,000 to win 'USA Nationals.' Gordy started twenty-seventh
on the feature grid, but was an early retiree during the attrition-filled
race and was paid for a twenty-first place performance in the 100-lap

Gordy Gundaker Fifth
in Prairie Dirt Classic Qualifying Feature at FALS
1, 2021) The
#11 GGR team closed out a busy month of July on July 30-31 at Fairbury
Speedway in downtown Fairbury, Illinois. The World of Outlaws Morton
Buildings Late Model Series once again sanctioned the annual running
of the 'Prairie Dirt Classic' and 74 competitors piled into the
pit area to do battle for the whopping $50,000 winner's check. At
FALS on Friday night, Gordy Gundaker stopped the clock twelfth fastest
in Group B during qualifying before winding up fifth in his 25-lap
qualifying feature behind only $3,000 winner Hudson O'Neal, Jimmy
Owens, Chase Junghans, and Mckay Wenger.
When Saturday evening rolled around in the Land of
Lincoln, Gordy had high hopes of transferring into the 100-lap headliner.
Unfortunately, the St. Charles, Missouri ace finished ninth in both
his B-Main and the Non-Qualifiers Race and was unable to make the
start of the 'Prairie Dirt Classic,' which was ultimately won by

tribute to the Wallace family on Friday night, July 23 in the 'Russ
Wallace Memorial' at Tri-City Speedway in Granite City, Illinois.
The DIRTcar Summer Nationals paid their second visit of the year
to the St. Louis-area venue and a $10,000 top prize was up for grabs.
Gordy stopped the clock sixth fastest in Group B during the qualifying
session prior to running third in heat race action. After starting
the 40-lap headliner from the outside of the sixth row, Gordy fought
valiantly for a top ten showing in the caution-free affair before

Gordy Suffers Mechanical
Woes During Weiner Nationals Pace Laps
19, 2021) The
lone event for the #11 team over the weekend was a trip to Randolph
County Raceway in Moberly, Missouri on Sunday night, July 18. The
unsanctioned Super Late Model contest - dubbed the 'Weiner Nationals'
- drew 23 competitors to the Show-Me State oval to do battle for
the $10,000 winner's check. Gordy Gundaker laid down the fifth quickest
time overall during the qualifying session prior to running second
in heat race action. He was then slated to roll off from the inside
of the third row in the 30-lap headliner, but mechanical woes during
pace laps dropped him to a disappointing twenty-second place performance.

Gundaker Climbs to Fifth
in 41st Annual Herald & Review 100!

Gundaker was back on tour with the DIRTcar Summer Nationals in a
trio of races in the Land of Lincoln from July 7-9. Things kicked
off for the week for the #11 team on Wednesday night at Spoon River
Speedway in Banner, Illinois. Gordy clicked off the eighth quickest
lap in a stacked Group A during qualifying and later grabbed the
fourth and final transfer spot through his heat race. After starting
the $5,000 to win headliner from the inside of the eighth row, Gordy
was able to streak past eight competitors during the 40-lapper to
nab a solid seventh place effort.
The St. Charles, Missouri ace was then looking to
rekindle some past magic on Thursday evening in the 41st Annual
'Herald & Review 100' at the mighty Macon Speedway in Macon,
Illinois. Gordy placed third in heat race action, but later moved
past seven cars during the 100-lap main event to land in the fifth
finishing position behind only $5,500 victor Bobby Pierce, Ryan
Unzicker, Shannon Babb, and Logan Martin. The action for the week
then wrapped on Friday at Farmer City Raceway in Farmer City, Illinois
where a $10,000 paycheck was up for grabs. Gordy finished third
in his heat race before starting and ultimately running eleventh

Gordy steered past five competitors during the caution-free affair
