Gordy Gundaker Debuts New Hooters Scheme in World 100
(September 10, 2017) Gordy Gundaker and his #11 team invaded the famed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio from September 7-9 for the 47th edition of the "Granddaddy of Them All" - the 'World 100.' The three-day crown jewel spectacular at the Darke County facility started with a pair of Twin 25 preliminary programs with each feature winner receiving $10,000 for their efforts. On Thursday night, Gordy narrowly missed out on his 25-lap feature after finishing sixth in his heat race and fifth in his B-Main. At the "Big E" on Friday evening, Gordy was unfortunately spun early in his heat race and later ran eighth in his B-Main, which once again kept him out of his 25-lapper.

The largest crowd in the fabled history of Eldora Speedway then assembled on Saturday to witness the 'World 100' and to watch someone walk away with $50,000, along with the famous globe trophy. Gordy placed tenth in his loaded heat race and nineteenth in his B-Main. Unfortunately, the St. Charles, Missouri ace - with the sharp Hooters paint scheme - was unable to crack the starting grid for the 100-lap headliner, which was won by Jonathan Davenport. Gordy Gundaker Unfortunately Breaks While Leading at Pevely...
(August 13, 2017) Following a rain-out of a weekly $1,200 to win program on Friday night at Tri-City Speedway in Granite City, Illinois, a similar show was held on Saturday evening, August 12 at Federated Raceway at I-55 in Pevely, Missouri. Gordy Gundaker stopped the clock third fastest in his group during time trials and later ran second in his heat race. After placing second in the fast dash and leading most of the main event, Gordy unfortunately broke a yoke in the rear-end and was not able to finish the race. The St. Charles, Missouri ace was eventually relegated to a fifteenth place showing at Pevely due to the mechanical woes. Huge Week in Land of Lincoln for GGR Motorsports
(July 29, 2017) Gordy Gundaker rolled into Fairbury American Legion Speedway in Fairbury, Illinois for this weekend's 28th Annual 'Prairie Dirt Classic,' which was once again sanctioned by the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series and boasted a lucrative $30,000 payday. Last night in preliminary competition, Gordy posted the seventh fastest lap in Group B during the qualifying session prior to finishing seventh in his loaded prelim feature, which boasted a $2,500 winner's check. At FALS earlier this evening, Gordy was battling hard for a coveted transfer spot through his B-Main, when he tangled with Mike Spatola late in the distance and retired in the fourteenth position. Unfortunately, the St. Charles, Missouri ace was unable to crack the starting grid for tonight's 100-lap PDC that was eventually won by Brandon Sheppard.

(July 26, 2017) Next up on the schedule for the #11 team was a visit to Fayette County Speedway in Brownstown, Illinois tonight for an $8,000 to win World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series mid-week throwdown. Gordy Gundaker tripped the clock eleventh fastest overall during time trials and later grabbed the sixth transfer spot in his stacked heat race. After rolling off from the inside of the ninth row in the 40-lap affair, Gordy charged through the field and got up inside of the top ten - eventually finishing the race with a strong ninth place effort.

(July 25, 2017) A lucrative week in the Land of Lincoln started tonight at the tiny Macon Speedway in Macon, Illinois, as the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series rolled into the 1/5-mile bullring to preside over the $12,000 to win 'St. Louis U-Pic-A-Part 100.' Gordy Gundaker laid down the fourteenth quickest time overall during the qualifying session prior to placing fifth in his loaded heat race. (July 15, 2017) The 2017 edition of the UMP DIRTcar Summer Nationals wrapped up tonight at Oakshade Raceway in Wauseon, Ohio with the annual 'Birthday Race,' which boasted a $10,000 payday. Gordy Gundaker timed in seventeenth quickest in Group A during qualifying before running fifth in his heat race and fourth in the B-Main. The 29th annual running of the 'Wood Tic' weekend at Merritt started tonight with a $5,000 to win program. Gordy Gundaker timed in fourth quickest in Group A during the qualifying session and later placed second in heat race action. Gordy then rolled off from the outside of the third row in the 40-lap feature, but slipped back two spots and crossed underneath the checkers in the eighth position.

(June 18, 2017) The first week of the UMP DIRTcar Summer Nationals wrapped up tonight with a $5,000 to win throwdown at Daugherty Speedway in Boswell, Indiana. (June 17, 2017) The fourth leg of the "Hell Tour" grind took the #11 GGR team to Peoria Speedway in Peoria, Illinois tonight. Gordy Gundaker ran seventh in his heat race and tenth in the B-Main, but later utilized a provisional to gain access into the 60-lap main event. Gordy was then in the seventeenth position after twenty circuits when heavy rain showers invaded the area. (June 16, 2017) The grueling UMP DIRTcar Summer Nationals tour made their first-ever stop at Sycamore Speedway in Maple Park, Illinois tonight and 38 competitors showed up to vie for the $7,500 payday.
